Egerie, referenced three times by Gartner® in 2026

In the Hype Cycle® for Cyber-Risk Management 2026 and the Innovation Insight: Cyber GRC, Gartner® identifies Egerie as a Representative Vendor in two Hype Cycle categories (Cyber GRC and CPS Risk Management) and as a Representative Provider in the Innovation Insight: Cyber GRC. Three citations, two reports, one clear signal: Egerie is establishing itself as a key reference in the global Cyber GRC market.

A recognition that confirms our direction

Every year, the Gartner® Hype Cycle® for Cyber-Risk Management serves as a compass for cyber decision-makers. It maps technologies according to their maturity, potential impact and real-world adoption, helping CISOs and business leaders prioritize their investments with confidence.

In the 2026 edition, published in April, Egerie appears among the Representative Vendors in not one, but two distinct categories. And a few days later, on April 28, 2026, Gartner® published the Innovation Insight: Cyber GRC, in which Egerie is also cited among the Representative Providers in the market.

Cyber GRC: at the heart of the market

The Cyber Governance, Risk and Compliance category is currently positioned at the peak of the Hype Cycle, meaning it is attracting maximum attention from organizations. And for good reason: with the proliferation of regulations (NIS2, DORA, AI Act…), the ability to unify governance, risk management and compliance in a single tool has become a strategic imperative.

In the Hype Cycle®, Gartner® highlights that Cyber GRC tools provide greater visibility into cyber risk exposure, support decision-making, and automate metrics collection and control effectivenessaggregation.

The Innovation Insight goes further: it points out that many large organizations still rely on multiple platforms not specifically designed for cyber, resulting in fragmented data, an impossible consolidated view, and difficulties communicating risk posture to decision-makers. Gartner® distinguishes Cyber GRC platforms from generic GRC platforms on one fundamental point: their ability to process data in near-real time through native integrations (SIEM, VM, IAM, TPCRM), whereas traditional tools operate on quarterly cycles.

Egerie is cited in both reports among the vendors that embody this category, alongside players such as ServiceNow, Archer and ZenGRC.

CPS Risk Management: an emerging priority

The second citation in the Hype Cycle® relates to CPS Risk Management, namely the management of risks associated with cyber-physical systems, including OT, IoT and IIoT environments.

This is a rapidly growing challenge. Cyber-physical systems are now deployed across critical infrastructure, industrial networks and smart buildings. They significantly expand the attack surface and require a specific risk management approach that goes well beyond traditional IT-centric methods.

Gartner® notes in the report that CPS Risk Management is increasingly being integrated into broader GRC and enterprise risk management strategies, exactly the direction Egerie has been taking for severalyears with its unified platform.

Jean Larroumets, CEO of Egerie “These Gartner citations represent an important validation of the path Egerie has been building over the past several years. They confirm that our vision of a unified, operational cyber governance platform, progressively enhanced by AI, is aligned with the deep shifts reshaping the market.”

What this means in practice

Being referenced three times by Gartner® within just a few days, twice in the Hype Cycle® and once in the Innovation Insight, is an independent validation of the relevance and maturity of our approach. It is not an award: it is a market signal.

It confirms that Egerie addresses two of the most critical challenges for CISOs in 2026: managing cyber governance in an accelerating regulatory environment, and extending risk management to connectedphysical systems.

It is also confirmation that our vision of a unified platform, capable of covering both IT and OT risks alongside compliance requirements, is aligned with market expectations as analyzed by Gartner®.
